The hermetically sealed industrial triaxial piezoelectric accelerometer model 131 is specifically designed for reliable vibration monitoring in harsh industrial environments. It utilizes the industry-standard ICP® 2-wire voltage transmission technique with a low 2 mA constant current supply. To prevent ground loops, the signal ground is isolated from both the mounting surface and the outer case. Faraday shielding minimizes its sensitivity to electrostatic discharge (ESD). The annular shear mode design effectively eliminates errors from thermal transients and spurious signals caused by high transverse vibrations. Its low-noise electronics and temperature-compensated design ensure accurate measurements across the entire operating temperature range. A wide selection of frequency ranges allows it to meet virtually all customer requirements. Low-frequency accelerometer versions (A = 9X, 0X) include an integrated low-pass filter in their signal conditioning electronics.
Applications typiques:
These accelerometers are designed for vibration measurement in challenging environments to facilitate the monitoring of industrial machinery. The high-frequency variant is suited for detecting vibrations in components such as rolling element bearings and pump cavitation. The medium-frequency variant is appropriate for monitoring the overall vibration levels of equipment like pumps, motors, and fans. The low-frequency model finds application in industries such as petrochemical, machine tool, and paper, specifically for monitoring slow-speed equipment like agitators and cooling towers.
