Thanks to this extended 6 kHz frequency range, plant engineers can establish reliable ISO and custom severity thresholds to detect early-stage machine breakdown:
High-Frequency Band (1-6 kHz): Dry friction, lubrication degradation, bearing impact frequencies (BPFI/BPFO), and gear mesh harmonics.
Low-to-Mid Frequency Band (10-1,000 Hz): Structural unbalance (1X), shaft misalignment (2X), mechanical looseness, and blade pass frequencies.
