Decades of Proven Hardware Neutrality
VibraSens manufactures high-precision IEPE, 4-20mA, and IO-Link vibration sensors. Our hardware integrates seamlessly across hundreds of global DAQ platforms. For 23 years, we maintained strict brand neutrality to serve every data acquisition manufacturer unbiasedly.
Neutrality lies at the core of Beckhoff's and VibraSens' identity.
For our wireless sensor and gateway, we needed to find the right partner to offer VibraSens and our Indian partner, SensorDataFabrics, the most open solution with worldwide availability. We finally decided to go ahead with Beckhoff and their Linux Industrial PC.
Beckhoff aligns with VibraSens's core DNA and directly addresses our partner, distributor and end-user' primary requirement:
Zero-Obsolescence Machinery Protection, nothing proprietary between the sensor and your SCADA.
- 20+ Year Availability DAQ Cards: Eliminate hardware obsolescence using modular, decoupled EtherCAT architectures.
- Lower Cabling Costs: Reduce installation expenses and copper usage through high-speed, daisy-chained digital EtherCAT wiring.
- Real-Time EtherCAT Daisy-Chain Architecture: Purpose-built for critical vibration protection with sub-millisecond response times and SIL 3 safety certification capability.
- Open Edge Computing: Prevent proprietary vendor lock-in using open-source Linux Industrial IPCs.
- Centralized software-Defined Processing: Perform all calculations inside a single, centralized Linux Industrial PC using open-source libraries.
- Centralized Software-Defined Edge AI: Expand diagnostic capabilities continuously with seamless, software-only updates to the centralized IPC, avoiding numerous costly hardware replacements.
- Centralized Software-Defined Connectivity: Continuously expand connectivity via centralized software protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT, HART, etc.).
- Centralized Software-Defined Data Acquisition: Expand sensor compatibility using the broad catalog of over 1,200 Beckhoff DAQ cards.
- Customer-Defined Processing: Easily add specialized algorithms for specific machine requirements within a software-defined environment.
- Local vibration analysis software: Let the AI find the anomaly, then verify it with raw data thanks to free, embedded HTML-based vibration analysis software that computes FFT, Enveloping, Order Tracking, FFT Cascade, Power Spectrum, and more.
