The Beckhoff EC1100 is an ultra-compact, high-performance EtherCAT Coupler designed to act as the direct physical and protocol link between your high-speed EtherCAT terminal segments and your master controller.

Angled RJ45 Sockets – Zero-Bending Cable Stress: Equipped with two angled RJ45 ports, the EC1100 allows your shielded industrial Ethernet cables to feed directly into the cable channel.
Decoupled High-Speed Protocol Conversion: The EC1100 converts passing Ethernet frames (100BASE-TX) on the fly to Beckhoff's internal E-bus signal representation with an ultra-low propagation delay of only 1 µs. This ensures sub-microsecond synchronization between your high-speed vibration acquisition slices.
Flexible Topology & High Node Capacity: Build your network without constraints. The EC1100 supports standard line, star, or tree topologies , enabling point-to-point connection lengths of up to 100 meters between nodes . It automatically detects all connected terminals in TwinCAT and can support up to 65,535 nodes in a single, unified EtherCAT segment
